Ratio Architects collaborated with Wooten for the design of a new 3-story middle school in the North Raleigh area. The architectural firm asked us to provide design services, construction administration and construction observation services for both on-site and off-site water, on-site sewer and roadway extensions and improvements. On-site water included a fire loop around the school together with off-site water designs including the extension of 3,250 feet of water main. The project's roadway design called for 2,100 feet of extension adjacent to the site and the addition of dedicated turn lanes to assist with high traffic volumes at nearby intersections. Design and construction of the school required concerted coordination efforts between all design team members in order to bring the locally funded project to completion.
