Project Funding
Assisting with funding resources for infrastructure and community development
A dedicated Wooten Project Funding team assists in the acquisition and administration of State and Federal funds to help finance the construction of your projects.
The funding we have sourced for stormwater, roadway, water and sewer infrastructure, community development and building projects now totals more than $600 million.
We have obtained financial assistance from the Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant Program and many past programs, including the Rural Economic Development Program. Our experience with USDA dates back to the 1960’s, and many of our clients’ projects benefit from low-interest loans, secured through both the Drinking and Clean Water State Revolving Funds. These programs are often combined to be a source of funding for not only water and sewer facilities, but also community facilities, economic development and housing rehabilitation. We specialize in:

“The City of Newton has worked with Wooten on a variety of projects for the past five years, including a $4 million sewer rehabilitation project that was funded by the North Carolina State Revolving Fund Program. I highly recommend Wooten for any utility engineering or project management needs that your municipality may have, especially for State or Federally funded projects.”
