The Wooten Company provided site design services for the facility expansion at the Novo Nordisk plant in Clayton, NC. These services included water distribution design for domestic and fire service, sanitary sewer design - including separate pumping stations for process waste and domestic waste, storm drainage design (including three main stormwater networks ranging in size from 15-inch to 54-inch diameter to collect and deliver the site stormwater to the on-site stormwater wetlands), erosion control design and retaining wall design. This work also included electrical design for the new pump stations.
