The Town of Ahoskie's Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion was completed in March of 2011. Wooten provided Construction Administration and Inspection throughout the duration of the construction process.

The scope of administration included coordination with the contractor to work through the project details and ensure completion of a quality product for our client.

In doing this, engineers reviewed project shop drawings, payment requests and change orders, conducted project meetings and certified the project to the State.

During observation of the construction Wooten provided on-site resident personnel to follow the contractor’s work, help resolve conflicts or discrepancies, ensure substantial compliance with the design drawings and keep the client and engineering team informed of its progress.

The result was an expansion from 0.901 MGD to 1.6 MGD capacity to provide for industries, public facilities and hospitals.
