The Abbott’s Creek Community Center & Park included the construction of a new 30,000 SF community center and park with two multipurpose fields. The project was a joint venture with Wake County Government and Wake County Public School System and is located adjacent to the site of Abbott’s Creek Elementary School. The two-story community center houses a gymnasium with an elevated indoor track, fitness & equipment room, multipurpose classrooms and studio, lockers and dressing rooms and office areas. In collaboration with Clark Nexsen Architects, Wooten provided plumbing, mechanical, and electrical engineering design for the project.
